Henry Nutt III

Preconstruction Executive, Southland Industries

Henry Nutt III is a seasoned leader in the construction industry, currently serving as Southland Industries’ Preconstruction Executive. With over three decades of experience as a union sheet metal worker and 13 years as Southland’s Sheet Metal General Superintendent, he has led Lean implementation across Northern California.

Mr. Nutt's strategic approach combines hands-on field support with relationship building, proving instrumental in both internal initiatives at Southland and collaborative efforts with clients.

He chairs the National Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee for the AGC, sits on the Lean Construction Institute’s National Board of Directors, and received the Pioneer Award from LCI in 2018. He also authored the book, "Seven Principles – Creating Your Success in the Construction Industry," solidifying his influence as a thought leader in the field.
